Back in my 20s and 30s it was so easy. 
But that changed... Somewhere in my early 40s.

My once slender and petite figure suddenly started expanding seemingly overnight. I couldn't eat whatever I wanted without the weight sticking to my body. 
It used to be effortless for me to burn off any extra calories, but my body just couldn't keep up anymore. 
My metabolism was slowing down, and I could feel my health declining. I lacked energy during the day, and even fell asleep early in the evening while watching TV, which was not like me at all.

When none of these approaches worked, I switched to high protein meat-only plans like Paleo and Keto, but still, nothing seemed to help.
I even searched the internet for home remedies and tried making strange concoctions in my kitchen using apple cider vinegar, pickle juice, lemon and lime, and even soda! 
I even heard about the bizarre idea of sleeping with a red onion next to your bed to increase energy levels, and I tried that too.

But despite all my efforts, I didn't achieve any significant weight loss, so I decided to see a doctor to determine if there was any underlying medical condition that was affecting my ability to lose weight.
I had expected my doctor to tell me the usual advice of eating better and exercising more, and to blame me for my weight gain. But to my surprise, she had a completely different theory on why women like me struggle to lose weight.

My visit to the doctor didn't go as expected…

According to her, we needed to target the root cause of the issue. She then went on to share an incredible discovery - an ice hack that had been recently rediscovered, and had great scientific backing. What was even more amazing was that it didn't require any changes to eating habits, exercise, or take more than a few seconds to do.
